Gravy Wheels is the long time side wheelbuilding project of mechanic icon Steve “Gravy” Gravenites.

Gravy has been there for every part of the mountain bike story, riding, turning wrenches, and beaming with positivity. His smile graced a few memorable ads during his years spent on the NORBA circuit keeping the Missy Giovi era Volvo-Cannondale team bikes rolling, with lots of miles pedaled and wrenches spun since. It’s a true highlight of any trip west to take in a few Gravy tales from Marin county’s past and the incredible intersection of defining American music and bike culture that emerged from those hills.
